This week on Edelman Editions, Edelman’s digital team sit down to talk about the big change in how brands are managing their digital presence. The discussion, lead by, Philip Trippenbach, Account Director, Edelman and joined by Robin Hamman, Director of Digital, Edelman; Jethro Grassie, Technical Director, Edelman; and Ben Forsaith, Senior Solution Architect, Adobe, delves into how brands should no longer consider social media, owned media and search as separate entities. The group discuss the solutions and opportunities available to brands and organisations to better manage their digital presence and how to pull these three activities into one sphere.

Philip is currently an Account Director within Edelman Digital’s London team. He works to develop digital communications and crisis preparedness strategy for Edelman Digital’s international clients. Previously he was editor in chief at Citizenside, the world’s largest citizen journalism network, where he designed and produced interactive experiences, using the power of game design and social media for maximum impact and engagement.
Speaker Robin Hamman, Director of Digital, Edelman
Robin has around 12 years professional experience devising, implementing and managing social media propositions for some of the World’s leading brands. Robin joined Edelman as Director of Digital in June 2010. Robin’s speciality is finding creative solutions that align business processes and goals with audience, consumer and stakeholder behaviour online through the introduction of meaningful participatory frameworks online.
Speaker Jethro Grassie, Technical Director, Edelman
Jethro has been an active and leading software developer for over 15 years. Starting out as a freelance programmer developing desktop and server software targeting Apple Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems, Jethro soon discovered a huge demand for integrated cross-platform solutions. Jethro formed a successful specialist technology company and began branching out further targeting more and more operating systems and devices, such as smartphones and tablets. With the company now acquired by Edelman, Jethro enjoys his position spear-heading the technical and creative teams at Edelman, staying at the forefront of technology and creativity for multi-platform digital solutions. When Jethro gets spare time he contributes code and knowledge to the wxWidgets and PortAudio open source projects.
Speaker Ben Forsaith, Senior Solution Architect, Adobe
Ben is Product Specialist with Adobe, focusing Digital Marketing solutions. Ben joined Adobe 7 years ago to work with their leading customers and deliver value to these organisations by architecting effective business solutions built with AdobeTechnology. Now he is working with Adobe’s key business partners across EMEA, helping them to help their customers understand what can be achieved with Adobe CQ5 and other Adobe solutions. Prior to his role at Adobe he spent many years building solutions within the online customer service market.
